Hello everyone, and welcome to the 4th day of our blog!
Of course, we started our day with breakfast at the hotel. Then, we walked to our stand at the school for the last time. After lunch, we returned to our stands to clean them.
Next, it was time to showcase our Belgian skills in the kitchen. Almost all of us managed to cut our fingers in the process, but the food turned out great, and that’s what really matters. We prepared four dishes:
Soup of Belgian chicory with hand-peeled North Sea shrimp and huacatay oil.
Malines chicken, slow-cooked with candied potato, a cream of parsnip, and winter carrot.
Candied potato with smoked sturgeon and Royal Belgian caviar.
Waffles on a stick, decorated with chocolate and disco sprinkles.
We had the pleasure of welcoming the Belgian ambassador, who thoroughly enjoyed our dishes, and we even had our picture taken with her.
Afterward, we enjoyed the cultural performances by the other countries. Then it was time to sleep.
Goodnight!
